Hi, until now i used my d2 for feeding my ultra micro amp.
i want someting more flat and pure..something with a line out
so the sound wont be amped twice.
i couldnt figure out just how i suppose to connect the computer to my amp.

let's say i have a dac..if i connect the dac through the usb port
does it mean that the sound comes directly from the soundcard?
and not being processed...?

what setting should be in the player itself(windows media player,winamp...)?
i mean, eq all zero is enough?

thx!

The DAC bypasses the soundcard. When you connect the DAC it should recognize it, if not right click volume, audio properties, audio and drop down menu where DAC is (should say burr brown or usb speakers)...
In Foobar you set the output to DAC...That's it...

I can't advise on winamp or WMP...

Good luck
