This is strange, but after switching out my k340 pads for the k270s pads, i am getting much better sound. Firstly, the bass quantity has increased a bit and this is wierd, but im experiencing better highs as well

I guess this is all due to the better seal i am getting and the k270s pads are much more comfortable to wear with its thicker padding and softer cushions. My k340 pads are pretty old and flat. I also noticed the k340 pads are a little bit larger around than my k270s pads. I tried putting the k340 pads on my k270s and there is still a little bit of space around the cups. But putting the k270s pads on my k340 fits perfectly and sounds better than before with k340/k340pads. I heard there are separate pads for the k240s/k340, which i am tempted to buy now, but I cant believe the bass that is coming out of my k340 with these k270s pads. Its like feeling like this

!! I recommend any k340 user to give the k271s/k270s pads a shot. It really makes a difference in my setup.

I also noticed huge improvements when getting a new pair of pads for my K340's. I can't wait to try the velour ones out.
