Hi there,
I'm a avid gamer and use a lot of Teamspeak but also listen to a lot of music on my comp.
So my G930 gaming headset is braking down on me.
I've done some research and found out that you'll get a lot more bang for your buck when using a separate headphone and mic then a headset.
After reading a lot on this forum and going through some review's I decided that I would get a Q701.
Another reason is that my favourite PC components store can order them for me at a good discount.
From what I understand is that these cans need a decent amplifier, and I was wondering if I could use my old Braun A1.

I've found out it's actually a Panasonic in a Braun casing.
The thing is older than I am myself but still works well.
I'm a total noob when it comes to audio so please forgive my possibly dumb questions.

Since I listen to a lot of electronic music like DnB and Early Hardcore I like a bit of bass. Read that the Q701's aren't bass heavy, but how is this compared to my old G930's?
