I'm currently using an Audiophile USB with A900 headphones and some Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 speakers. I have my eyes on a used Entech 205.2 DAC for $170, but don't have any knowledge or experience with external DACs. Is this a worthwhile upgrade for my sound card, or should I keep searching?

edit: Forgot to mention that I only listen to MP3s (at least --aps quality) and MPCs.

It's a nice DAC. It sells on ebay - or used to - for less than that though. I'm not sure that it could compete with a 1212m given what they say about that card here.
