Like the title says, got these used from amazon. They were listed as the 600ohm versions, but the box they were shipped in has stickers that lable them as BOTH 32 ohms, and 600 ohms.

They are also Manufakturs because they have blue on them. I'm thinking its possible they were sent in without a box, and put in a dinged up 32-ohm version box, but I want to make sure, because I bought an amp and have been preparing my setup for the 600 ohm version!

It has a blue ring around it? Its a 32ohm version then.
I'm sure it has on the plug in tip area on the black part it probably says 32ohm as well.

But the blue ring around it like that picture is the 32 ohm versions of the Beyers.

They sent you the wrong headphone.

I would remove the 600 ohm sticker on it so it only has 32ohm stickers on it so amazon won't be mistaking it for something its not.

I guess you could figure out the impedence by checking what the music sounds like unamped and then amped, then I you maybe could tell depending on how it sounds whether its 600 ohms or 32 ohms.

I was also looking into buying one of these 600 ohm dt880s, could you tell me which amp you plan to use with them?

EDIT- wow I can't believe they would do that.

Don't worry they did the same thing to me.
They sent me the 32ohm version.
I returned it and got a 600ohm version and free overnight shipping even before I sent the wrong one back.

But mine had 32 ohm stickers all over it but one said 600ohms on the side of the box so they mistake it for the 600 ohm version.

I bought the 600ohms from amazon new since its $100 cheaper than getting it from Beyer even before the custom colors, pads etc... Although in May Beyer had a short sale for manufakturs and then Beyer was actually cheaper.
