I was thinking: if one buy an amplifier with 100V power consumption and there is a need to transform to 240V. At Audiocubes they give you a voltage transformer for free. Is there no loss of quality if one use a voltage transformer?

A good question and one I am probably not able to give the definitive answer to but some logic to consider:

1. transformers have the capacity to "smooth" out voltage spikes and dropouts. Having a transformer providing power to another transformer would add to this effect.

2. A perfect power source would have perfectly formed ac voltage. Two transformers in parallel may be worse than one as they coulld potentially introduce additional artifacts into the waveform: back emf, hysteresis, capacitance????

3. Does this really matter to a regulated DC power supply?

That's what you call asking more questions than you answer!
