Where and what and how can I use to use my USB port to output to my optical or co-axil into my musical Fidelity X-ACT (Dac)? Since I only have a old (and awful) soundblaster 128 soundcard and it only has stereo out!

www.minidisco.com and other minidisc shops sell a Xitel product that attaches to your usb port and outputs optical audio signal. However, it is $60. I suggest buying a sound card with optical or coax digital out. I have the Aureal Vortex 2 (~$27.00) with optical out, or the diamond MX400 has coax out(~$30.00). With a new sound card, you'll save money and have better sounding audio output when listening with speakers.
