Hi!

A few days ago I invested in the Sennheiser Momentum, mostly for mobile use. I would however like to hear if it's possible to use a USB-soundcard (I don't have any available PCI slots) to simulate 7.1 sound for them, so that I can replace my razer megalodon(the elements on them are getting a bit loose I think, I can hear them vibrate against something when there's bass). Is it worth it, or should I simply invest in a new all-in-1 system similar to megalodon?

I don't have a specific budget yet, but if possible, less than $100 would be nice (I live in Europe, so you'll have to add about 10% to the US price usually).

Thank you for recommendations!

I believe an Asus U3 USB sound card will give you 5.1 headphone surround sound.
Here in the USA they sell for $40.

Thank you, I looked at it and noticed the Xonar U7 USB instead, but I couldn't find a lot of reviews for it. The U7 looks to me like it is a little better in general, or am I wrong?

I have not really done any reading on the U7, but would assume it's better then the U3.
and it cost a bit more then your $100 budget.
