Hi all,

I have an Apogee Mini-DAC (with USB option installed) and a M-Audio Rev7.1 sound card.

Which connection is better USB or Coax?

Hey small world. I'm right around the corner in Irvine, (home of Ultimate Ears HQ).

There's lots of threads on that topic. Just do a search with "USB" "kmixer" "bit perfect" "ptical" "asio". I haven't read too much on difference with coax though (maybe i just haven't looked).

For my Ibook/MicroDAC rig I found USB to sound just as good as optical.

Using search, I found most of my questions on this topic answered by previous posts and got my computer-as-source rig sounding pretty nice.

A small world indeed, I actually live between Talbert and Ellis, and I also go to UC Irvine.

Thanks for your help, I will run a search and do some of my own comparisons.
