Look, i have NO idea really with electrical components and circuitry...lol

All i can say is that my brother has 3 of these logitech headsets. They plug into the USB slot of the PC/PS2 and have a speaker and microphone attached...2 of these have broken so i opened em up. THere are a bunch of parts...all i can do is give you some quick names of the 'main' chips...

One has "TAS9020B", "3CT" and "CJ63" on it..the other has "WM9708CDS" and "3CAFBBR" on it and thats the two biggest ones..lol...this is SOOO vague....i'll get some pictures.

Just wanna know if i can salvage anything for a USB DAC or if anyone knows what they quality of the Output on this beast would be....probs not really that good...but u never know.

Thanks

PDF file on it...as far as i can see it is an 18 bit stereo codec that has line level outputs, the PCM2702 usual BB DAC chip as far as i am aware is a 16 bit one...so surely if i just wire the outputs of this thing to a jack i can be all set to go...i would have to ofcourse then have an amp i think....probably worth a try :p
