I am using a Sager laptop and running a Senn HD-595, Klipsch X-10 and A5's off of the onboard audio but am now looking to kick up the output audio a notch. (Especially for the HD-595s because my onboard audio simply can't quite deliver the amount of sound necessary to really drive the cans)

What sort of device would you recommend? I would love something that is also portable so I can use it with my iphone if I am out and about... Are the RSA products excellent in this regard? My budget is up to 500$

Thanks in advance!

I would consider a portable amp, with a DAC included. This will improve your laptop sound A LOT. You can also use this together with your iphone for improved portable sound.

Within your budget I guess there a lot of good products! Good luck!
