Hey all,

I got a laptop recently and so far so good. The audio quality is about to be expected from the onboard realtek chip and obviously I'd like to move up

. I've heard of the Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 which sell for about $60 cdn.

I plan to use this mainly for watching movies and games on headphones so surround sound is a must. What are other under $60 usb sound cards with my criteria?

Surround sound on headphones is a joke, IMO.. Either suffice for good stereo sound on headphones, or get a real 5.1 speaker system. If you go with option a, get a Nuforce uDAC. They're $40 out of your price range, but way better.
