USB 3.0 - Advantageous to audio?

There isn't really a USB-Audio standard. The USB connection just transfers digital data that's converted in a similar way an SPDIF connection would be. Some DACs use USB1.1, some use USB2.0, and some will eventually use USB3.0.

As for USB3.0 being advantageous to audio, I doubt it would ever be. We might start to see USB-bus powered 24/96 or 24/192 DACs using USB3.0... But, I wouldn't expect that any time soon. And not at a nice price point.
