Does anyone know of any good stores that carry Grados? I am looking to try some out in store soon, I am in the market for either SR80s or SR125s.

I am located 20 miles outside of Philly, near Blue Bell, for those of you in Southeastern PA.

Not necessarily chain stores, I just need a store in the Philly area.

The other option is to call Grado at 718-435-5340. That's what I did to find a Chicago-area dealer.

You just have to call around the smaller high-end audio stores in your area. In Southern California, there are a handful of stores that carry them up to the SR-125s. Grados are carried by one chain store that I know of...Virgin Megastore. They won't let you demo them, though.

You could also try calling / contacting Grado for a list of retailers in your area.

Call Grado. They have facilities in NYC... Nothing like a factory tour!

Thanks a bunch, I'll check those out. May I ask you where you got those from?

I can't reveal my sources.

Actually.. Since most independent dealers carry Grado it wasn’t difficult. I went to Sterophile’s Link page. They have a Dealer link section by State. Since I know the Philadelphia area, it was easy. I just ignored the Custom/Hometheater dealers.

Stereo Exchange. On Broadway, between Waverly and West Houston.

Also, give John Grado a call. He might let you stop by and say "Hi" in Brooklyn.

You can always go to the next NYC Meet in November. Almost every Grado ever built is usually there.

you didnt check out Gradolabs.com?

they have a Dealer Locator that can really help you out.
and maybe if your nice to your dealers. They can provide you a slight discount!
seriously, because Grado does not take control of local coupons/ deals some reputable Dealer's provide.

like i was offered a 10% discount on one of the Grado headphones in my local Dealer; Digitalsoundinc when i sent a email asking about the Sr80i's unfortunately.. they had to relocate somewhere farther so.. sad face
