Hi all,

I'm in the UK and have a US buyer interested in my pristine Traillii Ti full set but he's a little unsure how much is charged on current US import fees so I am reaching out to US guys who might have some knowledge in this regard and could let me know...

Also, Traillii Ti is made in China which has to be declared on the shipping documents.

Many Thanks for any help you can give me on this matter 👍

Depends on how much you declared on custom froms? A fellow headfier in the US just received the storm and had to pay 600 in tariff from Singapore which have a 10% tariff. Most countries have a baseline tariff of 10%. You can check CBP website for UK tariff percentage. Used to be anything declared under $800 have no duties. The threshold might have changed.

Thing is, the buyer wants them declared at the price he's paying which is £4800 as he wants them fully insured just incase anything happens.

It seems like most countries are 10% baseline but it's the China 'country of origin' part that's concerning even though I am sending them from the UK. This could add an extra tariff added on top of the baseline 10% which would make them more costly for the buyer...

Much Appreciated...

I don't think the parts where is made from matters. Just where you imported from. I imported a few items from japan and the items were made in china. I am not sure with the new tariffs from US now, so its best the buyer get answer from CBP website/ contacts or wait till everything settles down with this tariff war. Hopefully everything go back to normalcy soon.
