Hi, Guys, I have the hd800 headphones and the hdv820 headphone amp. Should I upsample my music? I am streaming Qobuz studio on a gigabit hardwired connection on my pc. Should I Upsample or leave it on WASAPI Exclusive Mode? Respond with any input.

I believe that there is no audible difference. But you might want to ABX to convince yourself of this (or disprove it). It was eye-opening for me

Edit: this should be one of the easiest ABX tests to conduct. Foobar works very well for it

With very high-end equipment (as it appears you have), you should be able to notice the difference over time. (ABX is problematic due to the brain's very small audio memory of only a few seconds.)

Wasapi sounds better in the long run. Exclusive mode is also recommended, because there is little to no recovery with Wasapi, since it bypasses all software interaction with the OS (also why it sounds better). Without exclusive, the chances of irritating drop-outs are greater.
