Hey all,
I've had my CX 880's for less than half a year, and I mainly listen to music when traveling. I have no problem with the sound that the CX800s produce, I in fact like the sound quality of these IEMs. However, the earbuds don't fit my ears well, and the sound isolation is very poor, meaning I cannot achieve a good seal and listening to my music in public is extremely hard without turning my volume up. Even with a high volume, I cannot hear detailed bass, because the seal just doesn't work.
Does anyone have any recommendations on which IEM's to upgrade to? I'm looking for a largely similar sound, with better isolation and perhaps some more bass. I've got my eyes on the Monster Turbines, but I've been reading mixed reviews. The IE6s have good reviews, but it seems like Sennheiser can't get their sound isolation right, I've owned 3+ Sennheiser IEMs before and none of them had up-to-par sound isolation. My budget is around 200.
Looking forward to any replies!
