Upgrading from the SR225i... looking for some advice :)

I have a pair of Grado SR225is that I purchased back in 2009 and a LittleDot I+ tube amp. I love the Grado sound and I am looking to upgrade my headphones. I was originally interested in the RS2i but I am curious about the new PS500. What does Head-Fi think? How do the RS2i and the PS500 compare in sound and value?

PS50 is probably the best small grado in current production. Go for it.
Or MS-Pro is good as well, but they cost more.

The sound signatures of those two options is quite different.  They are both different from you SR cans.  If you like the SR sound signature, you might want to consider the 325is or the MS-2, which has more tamed treble.
 
The PS 500 provides a more bassy sound signature.  The RS-2i is well described here:
