The two EQ settings for bass on the E11 don't quite cut it for me. I've been looking at he E17 as it has many levels of bass boost (Upto 12db I think?) correct me if I'm wrong. $100 max. Maybe a little more but no more than $150. My headphones are the ATH-Pro700 MK2,so no I don't need a bassier headphone

More power would also be great. I can only turn the volume up so high and then DISTORTION from the E11's EQ! Ick. Gotta be able to pair with my iPod Touch. That's why I like Fiio's because of they seems to be the best choice for iPod's..or maybe not? Any reccomendations?

You want more he bass than the AT700II's with the full bass boost of an E11?

Perhaps your source material is what's lacking in bass - because the above combination
should be producing plenty of it...a more powerful amp will help produce "more" bass, but only if it's
present at the source.

I've used multiple sources. Different iPods,CD players,my PS3. My iPod Touch 5G+E11 combo almost nails it. But at 100% volume on the iPod and about 80% volume on the Fiio is the loudest I can get it to go before the bass distorts. Which is why I'm thinking more power would solve it. Maybe, possibly?

Get yourself an E12 for the power boost and in a few months with the eyeball rattling boom it won't matter much as you will be half deaf.

And yes you might want to look at different headphones... JVC SZ2000 for example, there are many Basshead groups here just do a search. HawaiiBadBoy has a big bass thread.

Do you have the Pro700's? Or had.

pro 700's? Those are in the top 10 hardest hitting bass headphones... I say get an audio player with a good EQ. Nokia Lumia's all have a built in EQ that can push out 24db@50hz. I'd suggest the Nokia Lumia 520 for 50$. Look it up on amazon. The e11 is plenty powerful for now. The 520 would probably make a bigger difference in quantity than the E17.

Well actually here it is. The phone is extremely fast for 50$. Insanely so. I don't think you'll experience any lag. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00E45043A/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1407622097&sr=8-1&pi=SL75 windows phone 8 is just so well optimized for low end hardware. And the EQ is INSANE. Bump up the 50hz band by 12db, then lower everything else, and you have a real thumper. And it actually doesnt decrease signal quality... Nokia did a really good job on the EQ.
