Hey Guys! I did listen for some time to my etys 6i (straight out of the ipod 5G) and i now found out that they just dont fit my musical taste (mostly rock, indie, progressive). i find them not "involving" enough, and i am now looking for a new pair of iems that suit me better. i was reading a lot about the sf pro 5s and the shure e4s. And before making the decision, i like to ask you guys if someone has made a similar experience. great iems for rock - any recommendations?

the er6i sounds weak on bass with the 5g ipod. the e4c isn't going to do much better (yes, i've listened to both phones on the 5g ipod before). by more 'involving', i'm presuming more bass is needed. you can consider bass-heavy phones like the Sharp MD33 or the Creative EP-630. they sound wonderful with the 5g ipod without using any EQ.

That would certainly be much less expensive than the sf pro's ...
