I've been using the Element 2, and I'm planning for an upgrade. My current budget is about 1000$, so I'm thinking of getting a discounted RME ADI 2 DAC. How is the performance of the AMP compared to the Element's? Is it powerful enough? I'm looking for other suggestions also, so please tell me other options. Thanks.

What makes you want to upgrade? The Element 2 is a great amp and if it's handling all of your gear just fine why upgrade? Save the money for either a new headphone / speaker or way more music. Sometimes it's best to resist the upgrade urge and focus on music acquisition.
