Hello,

I bought a pair of RE800 silver about 9 months ago and absolutely LOVED them. So much much so that they displaced my Beyerdynamic Amirons in both mobile and desktop use.

Yesterday the cable was severed, and now I’m thinking about upgrading to a pair of RE2000 silver, as they’re currently on sale for $349.

I’m looking for input on other IEM’s that I should consider in this price range (new or used).

I listen to a diverse selection of music, acoustic/piano, EDM, pop, metal, sometimes even classical. I’d be driving them with a Hiby R6pro and SMSL SP400.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The Moondrop Kato is the best I've heard. The Simgot EA500 with black nozzles is what I used daily, and a much better value too.

Have you had a chance to compare the Kato to the Blessing 3? I’ve been reading good things about it.
