Dammit.

I had ASIO4ALL working just fine, but after upgrading to windows service pack 2 (SP2) I now have pops and cracks during playback with ASIO4ALL.

If I touch any program, change the volume, etc, there is a break in the music.

Has anyone heard of this? Does SP2 mess with KS? Do I need to find a windows CD and reinstall windows?

Thanks

SP2 does not damage KS. I've been running SP2 for over a year now and have used 3 different card, all work quite well with WDM KS. My first bit of advice would be to check for a new driver and to reinstall the driver, new or not. If that doesn't work then we can look at other things.

I went into the device manager and I disabled the kmixer for the internal sound card, and my USB device. Reboot. That didn't help.

Then I went into the device manager and I completely disabled the internal sound card. Reboot. This might have done it. I think it's pop free, but we'll see.
