I've done quite a bit of searching and lots of reading, but haven't found many answers to my question. Has anyone, who had the RE-400 and really liked the sound signature, found an upgrade in either an IEM or full-sized headphone?

My budget can be pretty much whatever it needs to be. My own analogy with the RE-400 is its sound reminds me of my first exposure to the openness of Magneplanar speakers. What IEM or full-sized headphone has that sound signature?

For reference, the RE-400 is one of my first IEMs too.

I find the IT01 a clear upgrade to it. The Xelento even more so.
