Okay I'm looking for something to replace my e2s and use my e2s as a back up because the the plug is very sensitive..... Okay, so I'm looking at
UE Super.fi 3s because I like the replaceable cord (I've broken my e2 cord twice).
UM1 because of the comfort
Mylarone because of the price.
Etymotic e6

Or should I get something else sub $100?

If I was to upgrade, I'd go much higher up the ladder.

Agreed. Spend another $50 or so and look at the Super.fi 5 Pro, Shure E4 or Ety ER4 depending on what you're looking for. The extra step is WELL worth it.

Personally, I went the ER6i route. But that was a very slight improvement. I'd suggest doing as others have suggested and saving up for one of the next tier headphones.

Personally the E4's are a great deal for $180ish. My first pair of real earphones were the E2c's btw.

If you really want an incredible sound for ear canals go with the E500's you will not be dispointed but they are pricey. E4's are just a step down for much less and much better sound than the E2's.

The models you are considering seem to be cross-grades rather than upgrades. I've been thinking about getting IEM's for a while now and I started off planning to get the likes of the EP630, then moved on to consider the super.fi3, ER6i, UM1 etc, but reading more and more threads it seems to be wise to try out a cheap IEM to see if you like (which you have done) and then save up (a lot) and go straight for the likes of E500/SE530. If you just want something more comfortable with different sound for around $100 you could also consider d-JAYS?

The only problem I really have is that the connector is too sensitive and the whole cord breaking thing; really the sound is alright, but I guess it would be better with something else. I really don't know if I can see myself spending $2-300 on headphones.

It's depend what genre music you listen most. I think if you listen vocal, jazz, pop then E4c willbe great choice. But if you listen hip hop/rap, R&B, dance then SF5Pro willbe fun to listen.
