Hi guys, I got myself an UE900 last year and I've enjoyed my time with it. But in that 1 year, the right driver died on me and me replacement is also cutting out once in a while. So I think it's time to ditch it and get another IEM.

I did try out a bunch of other IEMs and I didn't quite like them.

1. Westone 3 = Sibilance makes it unbearable for me.
2. DUNU DN-1000 = Just didn't really like the sound.

My right ear canal also seems to be small which makes silicone tips uncomfortable. So I use Complys which I think will end up costing me a lot of money.

This led me to consider buying an entry level CIEM like the JH5. After looking around I thought to myself, if I get an entry level one I think I'll probably want to upgrade down the line and I won't get much resale value. So now I'm considering the UM Merlin.

I'm not an audiophile by any means. I just enjoy listening to music.
So my question for you guys is, for a guy who enjoyed his UE900 and is looking to upgrade to CIEMs, would I be disappointed with the JH5 or would the UM Merlin be better.

Thanks.
