i have a sony xb500 and i was looking for an upgrade. i have 180$ (and no i really cant go even a buck above this, but i will take used headphones)
 
im looking for headphones that have atleast half the bass of the 500's but also has atleast a decent upgrade to everything else. i dont just care about base
 
any suggestions? i was looking at the ultrasone580's as my most likely pick. ive also heard of the denons and the m50.
 
also, i really am a fan of over ear headphones but ill take anything
 
 
the music i listen to is electro and dubstep, and i listen to it on my computer and phone.

Lol. I had actually decided to go with the Ultrasone hfi 780, as i have been listening to more electronic music lately and the bass from the 500's just makes it muddy. I wanted clear treble and good quality bass (not just boomy) and a wider soundstage, so hopefully ill like it .
