My sony mdr-ex90 just died today ... Now i need new phone for my sony NWZ-B135f. I love to hear alot of bass but wanna try some higher end treble which I didnt find any in my ex90 (still in love with them though). My budget is less 100$. Just need for now maybe I will upgrade again to SA 6 next year

Just wondering, what happened to your MDR-EX90s? I have a pair of them and they're pretty good, I like them, but just curious to know what exactly went wrong with them?

I love my EX90 too and I am on my 2nd pair of them. The first EX90 died after about one year due to cable faliure. I would suggest getting Victor FX500 which are also cannal phones. They have better high, low and seperation. However, they also have recessed high and mid. The sound is clean and bright but also cold and colored which is not for everyone. However, FX500 have good airness that some more expensive phones lack (SE530 for instance). You can also try UE TF10 which I haven't tried. I heard good things about them too.
