Ok, I currently have the Sen 212pro  I'm thinking of getting the hd 555's   what kind of an improvment in sound would I see.

 

I mainly listen to R&B   Vocal and some alternative and some rap and hiphop and some insturmental/classical... anything really

 

So i just want to know how much better would they be

any feedback is appreciated

At first you will be severely disappointed with the lack of bass. Then you will start hearing things in acoustic music you haven't noticed before. After going 212-595-650 my music preferences have switched over from mainly electronic music to mainly acoustic music. I would imagine that for R&Bish/rap music, the 212 will suit you better. Don't make a quick decision and audition the 555 beforehand if you can.
