Yes, IMO. You'll find that, especially, but not exclusively, with Grados and Senns, the GL KILLS. More agressive, balanced, better soundstage, imaging, detail. I've had very well built maxed PPAs and Pimetas that sounded great; just not in comparison with my GL+PSU. No contest, IMO.
