My BSG Cmoy was a good starter amp, but I'm looking for something that'll let me get more oomph out of my RE0s. Narrowed it down to a solder_monkey (MisterX?) mini^3 or ibasso T3D. My budget is $100-$150. The digital volume control on the T3D looks pretty cool, but if it doesn't have enough steps, it won't be of much use. How much of an increase in performance would there be over my cmoy? I'd like to get more bass (don't need a bass boost switch though), more detail/clarity, wider soundstage, and more speed (for heavy metal) out of the RE0s.

Are there any other amps I should consider? Maybe the E7, or would it be any improvement over the cmoy?

I'll be using RE0s (used the most) and KSC75s with a Clip+ (Rockboxed), Fuze v2 (probably will be Rockboxed soon), and/or iPod Photo (Rockboxed too; with LOD). My most listened genres are classic rock, progressive rock, jazz-rock fusion, and heavy metal.
