Hi guys,

I've had a set of M50's for about a year now and I'm thinking of upgrading sometime soon. But I'm really not all that knowledgeable about audio equipment yet, so I could use some help.

I'm looking for closed headphones that I can use at home on my computer. I'd probably continue using the M50's when I travel, so portability isn't a big factor.

I'm willing to consider anything under 500$, but ideally I'd prefer something around 300$.

I listen nearly exclusively to electronic music, so if it's a bit bass heavy like the M50's that might not be a bad thing, as long as it's not overpowering.
To give you an example of the kind of music I listen to, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mgnk86p2Qos
I really enjoy vocals as well so I'm looking for something with clear and detailed highs.

Unfortunately a lot of the artists I listen to are relatively unknown so their tracks aren't always of the highest sound quality. But there's really not much I can do about that, so it's basically just something I'll have to deal with.

I'd be using these headphones with the magni/modi (although I haven't even bought those yet, just heard good things about them, so if you have a different suggestion by all means let me know).

I was considering the AT WS99's (bit on the cheaper side of my price range), but the only thing I'd be worried about is if it would be a big enough difference from my M50's for it to be worth it. Has anyone tried both that could tell me if there's a clearly noticeable difference?

Also, are there any online stores that have a 30 day no-questions return policy or something of the sort? I'd love to be able to try before I commit. (I'm sure there are a number of threads that answer this but I figured I'd just throw it in there)

Thanks in advance everyone!! Glad to join the head-fi community!

Digbuy is selling (on eBay) the Audio Technica ATH-A900Xs for $154.99, plus tax and shipping.
I paid $256 for my ATH-A900Xs

As do I, the M100 is just about perfect for that purpose.

The A900x are awesome, just not very awesome for EDM.

I think the A900X are good for EDM, just not for people that are looking for extra bass emphasis. Not everyone is looking for that. If a little less bass emphasis than the M50 is OK--something closer to neutral--the A900X will work well.
