I'm looking for an upgrade of the Sennheiser HD600 and the AKG K702. I really like the neutral sound. Are there other studio headphones that are just like those two headphones but in better?

The following headphones were either sidegrades or downgrades for me:

AKG K1000, Grado GS1000e, Grado GS2000e, AKG K812, AKG K872, Sennheiser HD800(S), Fostex TH900

Is there anything similiar to the HD600 and 702? Could be e-stat as well.

I don't like the HD800(S). The treble in the 702 is a bit too much for me but they are so much faster than any other headphone.

Seems like the Grado PS2000e is my next choice.

Focal Clear. TH900 isn't across the spectrum analystical, but the 6k can be bothersome with some people with certain tracks. It bothers me to the point not wanting to listen.

I personally think the Audio Technica ATH-R70X is like a better tuned, even more revealing HD600, but not everyone agrees.

Hello,

I have been watching a lot of videos to find an upgrade for k702...
I have hd6xx and k702, love soundstage and micro dynamics of the k702. So I d rather something with same qualities but it is not obvious apparently event around 1000.
Apparently people who like hd6xx should upgrade with focal clear and so on.
People who like 702 should get 800s...
Arya is something I find expensive considering where it is made.
Audeze lcd-2, lcd-x...maybe between the two worlds with eq...

Any comments?
