I am looking for some advice on upgrading a DAC that I have. I have a Chord Hugo, and I am looking to upgrade.
I was looking at getting the Chord DAVE and keeping the Hugo for headphones only, and I was minutes from pulling the trigger but after a rude response from Chord when asking them some simple questions. Well they saved me from a moment of madness!!
so what should I get next? I want to get rid of the Hugo now after talking to Chord.
I find the Hugo quite thin in the midrange, and not as open as others I have heard, hence looking for the upgrade. I also use the HUGO on my main Hi Fi system
I am running the following
Musical Fidelity KW500 amp
and Tannoy DC10Ti speakers
