I'm looking for recommendations on good quality aftermarket cables for the Susvara that are better in ergonomics than stock and equal to or better in terms of wire and sound quality.
As you know, the Susvara cable jacket material is terrible. I also sit right next to my desk+amp and hate having several feet of cord dangling on to the floor (I'm terrified i'm going to roll my chair over it plus it's just ungainly).

As you know, the Susvara cable jacket material is terrible. I also sit right next to my desk+amp and hate having several feet of cord dangling on to the floor (I'm terrified i'm going to roll my chair over it plus it's just ungainly).
Goals:
- Improved ergonomics
- Nice texture/feel (like fabric or some kind of weave)
- Nice look/feel (probably braided)
- Great build quality
- Solid, sturdy
- Minimal microphonics from movement
- Shorter length
- ~4 feet (1.25 ~ 1.5m)
- Compatible with Susvara
- Balanced XLR > dual 3.5mm
- Equal or better quality wire
- I believe the stock cable is a mix of copper and silver?
- Anyone know the specs?
- Equal or better "sound"
- I know this is super debatable.. so not putting too much emphasis here
- I don't want to make the headphones "brighter" or "fuller"
- If there is any sound impact I'd want it would be equivalent or more transparency/detail/clarity (if such a thing is possible)
- Flexible, but ideally < $500
Some cables I've explored:
- Lavricables
- Hart Audio cables
- Kranky Cables
- Apos Audio cables
- Norne cables
