Earlier I had posted that UE is getting ready to release a new version of their cords for the SPF5. However, it was pointed out that the email was not specific as to how UE was going to improve the cord. I therefore emailed them again about the possibility of have a woven cord. Here is the response I got:

"We do not have a woven cord but we are bringing out the new 2.0 cord
soon. The 2.0 will be thicker and more robust and will not pick up the
microphonics like the original cord."

So there you have it; the new cord we be thicker and have reduced microphonics. YAY.

lol no, I emailed them about a week ago w/ the same questions as the topic creator. They do not have a price for it at this point.
