I own both. I use PS3 mainly because of it's better GUI and media capabilities. When choosing games, I decide by which is the lead platform except for GTA IV. Burnout for example is the lead platform therefore it's better in technical terms, but theoretically identical. Also comparing Xbox Live and PSN is like comparing apples and orange as for now because Xbox Live has been out for 5 or so years compare to PSN's 1 year. It's free so who's there to complain? For playing standpoint via online is not much any difference to me in seriousness. As for Wii....... why? I really don't get it. But that's just me
I know you might think of me as Sony fan but I really don't decide based on company.... seriously, it might just think I love Sony because I have a lot of their stuff.
Anyways I would go for PS3, 360, lastly Wii. Give PS3 some time, 120 Million install base isn't just going to vanish.
