Hey everyone, I'm game for a pair of sunglasses. My whole life, I've never found a pair that I'm 100% happy with or proud to wear.

I looked at some designer ones today; namely: Oakley and Spy. And uh...wow, I knew they'd be expensive, but $215 for sunglasses barely bigger than a hot dog is kinda pushing it, ya think?

So if you don't mind, here are the things I'm looking for (besides them not breaking the college funds

):

1.) The darker the better; I prefer people don't see my eyes.

2.) No silver shiny reflective stuff on the lenses; could be just me, but it looks rather cheap and tacky.

3.) Full frame sounds like my style the most, but the rules could be bent a little

4.) Needs to still have a kind of sleek, "sporty" look to them. But only slight emphasis because I plan to wear them with any outfit.

Many many thanks for those who help me out here. Hopefully this will finally cease my search for the sunglasses I've always wanted.

Yea, the eyepatch is a good looking glass, I really like mine, but i would recommend you try them on if you have the opportunity, i have a fairly big head and they feel really comfy, but for a few people they r just too big. Conversely my dad cant even get the legs past his temples =S

Anyways they definately are "stunna shades" and break necks (people turn their heads so fast teehee).

well, I'm personally a huge fan to ray-ban's aviator series. It fits my face pretty well, and is very comfortable. But other people don't seem to like it as much.

Fantastic for driving or just walking around looking good

Good God you guys, I'm trying to go for $80 max, and yet I'm drooling over the Eyepatch and Aviator.

I hate that, I think I'll be fine with "meh" sunglasses, and then I have to see the twisted beauty of the first, and the simple elegance of the second.

I really like Maui Jims, but I think they are a little more expensive than that too.

The eyepatches retail for 90$ =D

Not where I'm looking at (eBay). And especially not the one you showed me (I'm infatuated with it now). One bid for them (the only one on eBay) is at $80 right now, but with the MSRP of it at $160, I'm not so sure how high it's gonna go by tomorrow evening.

Hehe,
Well the ones i showed you they only made 100 of. So that means 99 are floating out there so they may be more expensive. The stock (i guess not stock) but not imprinted eyepatches retail for 90. They are stunna shades in white also if you rock white glasses. But their is just some allure to the todd francis ones =)

Well, my mom actually just threw a good wrench into my plans. She said I could get those Oakley sunglasses as an early birthday present, so I just need to make sure I'm dedicated to getting them.

Persol Eyewear

You will notice alot of them have vertical strips in the temples, it allows the temples to flex. Nicest sunglasses I have ever seen. Very well made. See if you can find an eyewear store near you that carries then and you can get sized and order them online cheaper. These are Mac Daddy, not Mac Donalds. Wings and Fart boxes need not apply.
