I have the dt770's and they are WAY TOO BASSY. im not a bass-head. or a treble-head, Im a Mid-head
on the dt770's the mids are recessed
oh btw these are really comfortable

What headphones are flat, in your face sounding and have really good vocals that cost around $200

I want to sell my dt 770's and buy another pair of headphones

Give AKG a try very good mids in the studio line.

How long have you been listening to them? What are you driving them from?

Give your ears and the cans time to settle in.

JVC HAR-X900 = good times for $60. It will run great out of your X-FI too. The X700 is only $35!!!

Both are very near the AT A900 in terms of sound. They do everything well with decent detail. For the money, nothing comes close atm.

Btw, the 770s do benefit from an amp. They give you even more bass lol.
