Ok, stupid question probably... but as long as I dont know the answer and I'm obsessive about my new headphones, I figured I might as well ask.

I just unplugged my new phones from my amp while the amp was on with the volume turned up. Is this bad for the amp or the headphones?

It recommends in the manual for my amp to plug the phones in before the power is on... thus I was furthar inspired to ask the question above.

Just make sure that nothing is playing when you do that or just turn volume down and you'll be fine.
