Unofficial V-MODA XL Pads thread.

I found that the XL-Pads become worse over a span of 8-9 months. The memory foam becomes smushed and stays smush.

More like a month for me, at least on the left side.

That said, the pads are absolutely comfortable. My head kind of pushes the limits of the headphones, I occasionally have to shift or readjust them. But overall, they are comfortable.

Are these compatible with non vmoda headphones? I have the noontec hammo s and am worried about the ear cups being too shallow. If the V-Moda xl won't work with my noontecs does anyone have other suggestions?

Unbelievable, just got these to Finland - 5 days!! Maybe I'm ordering too much stuff from China and I'm used to wait for couple of months to my orders to come but hey, this is nice

Did you had to pay custom taxes on this ?

I will have to import those to Europe too, can't stand the regular earpads, they're making my ears unbearably hot after only one hour of use...

Any other way to get them in Europe ? Have to pay 15 dollars in shipping fees to order from V Moa web site and that's a lot for a product that cost 20 dollars...

Kind of late for the party.

As my Review from My Vmoda M100 the pad really had some Comfy Feature as well as more clarity in the sound, BUT it remove a little bit of the shaking thunder of the bass.

At the moment I really wish there was another pair of pad, bigger or more thick, I could buy/mod.

Currently the Owner of the Hifiman He400i and I find that the XL pad could be more like the Focus pad of he400i.

Conclusion : Get the XL pad for clearer sound overall but a bit less bass ( it is a cheap modification that can help you not Buying another Headphone )
and keep the old pad in case you really want to stay close to the vibration done by the Headphone.

tested again XL pads and seemed I had put it in a wrong way cause now it's sounding perfectly. I also have a small head so had to tightened headpad (don't remember the english word for but guess you got what I meant)

Thanks to you, I put the XL pad on again, and I'm enjoying it right now. Still need to EQ it but it doesn't have the muffled bass like before. The XL pads actually have thicker and thinner side so the thicker side should be in front.

Hope this is helpful for those who are late to the game
