I purchased a PA2v2 from Gary early April, and after some long listening sessions, I find the amplifier's performance a little lacking. I sent Gary an email, stating my opinions and concerns regarding the amp's performance. I asked for his to "tweak" the amplifier, possibly replacing the tiny opamp that he uses for something else, or better, an opamp adapter. He refused to do so, but offered me a full refund if I send the PA2v2 back to him.

Now I have three options: should I keep the amp, and do the modding myself, or send it back to him and get full refund, or put it on sale on the FS forum?

I lean towards *refund* but may I ask what you find lacking? You're using it mainly for your Alessandro?
