Okay guys, so my history of earphones is not too great, but now I'm tired of trash earphones and am going to save up for a couple of weeks and get $80. (Hey driving lessons cost a fortune..) So what I was wondering is what do you audiophiles recommend for me? I was looking at the er6i, but I'm not sure. I also took a look at the nuforce 7m's ( I think..) and couldn't find them for sale anywhere so .. yeah :/

I like rock, indie, and a little bit of rap.

EDIT: Not too great = Skullcandy's and Sennheiser CX300's .. :/

If you live in the US, get the Shure SCL4s at your local guitar center or at their website for 80 bucks.

They sound amazing for that price (this is ofc imho.)

If not, ER6i or nuforce 8s are good too. I personally started with Ultimate ears 3, and they kept me happy for about a year too.

the er6i is great for the price

the scl4 might not bad bad..never heard it but i read reviews that it being close to the er4p which is better than the er6i
