Unappreciated and/or Little-Known Rock Music

Well, if you aren't in Canada I'd have to say "The Tragically Hip". Of course, I went to school in Kingston (their home town) and love "Trailer Park Boys" so I'm fairly well exposed to them. "Road Apples" and "Up To Here" are great pure rock albums, everything but their first self titled and the disc titled "Music @ Work" are pretty steady. Live though, Gord Downey's crazy ramblings are things you really just need to see in person. I swear he's getting more nuts with age... it's like Dave Matthews, only with more nonsense.

Also getting the "homer" vote is my favourite drinking band, Great Big Sea. Celtic folksy rock is kinda a weird combination, but it works well. Especially with booze in hand.
