Unamped, iPhone source, Classical music, closed back

At home, I have several headphones that I used amped (either with a Burson Audio HA-160D or Woo Audio WA6-SE), including Audeze LCD-2 and one of my favorites for critical listening, the AKG K702.
 
Problem is... all of my headphones have an open back design and many (including the ones mentioned above) really need amplification. I'm looking for a pair of neutral sounding (I mostly listen to classical and opera), closed back (so I can listen at work), and unamped (straight out of an iPhone). Size and budget are of less concern. Since I'm listening at work, critical listening is not important, just a good neutral sound signature.
 
I searched this thread for these requirements before posting yet another recommendation request. Apologies if I missed something. It's been a few years since my last purchase and the number of options is overwhelming, so thanks for helping me narrow down the options.

If you like the audeze sound and budget and size don't matter try auditioning the lcd-xc.
