Hey all,

I can't seem to transfer new tracks to my hd3 anymore. I used vaio transfer utility before, but now it doesn't detect my player. Perhaps this is because I had to reinstalled sonicstage 3.1... to get my sister's netmd working again. One thing I find funny is that... SS recognizes my HD3 perfectly. But whenever I attempt to transfer new tracks...

I get this message saying > Cannot tranfer from this comptuer because the atrac audio device contains tracks from another computer. All the tracks on the atrac audio device must be deleted before tracks can be transfered from this computer. If you authorize the atrac audio device, you will also be able to transfer tracks from other authorize computers.

So I can't use either method to tranfer new tracks now.

If anyone ran into a similar problem I did... what did you do to solve it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

By reinstalling Sonicstage, it lost the link that it had to the HD3. This is not recoverable... unless you have a backup handy. If not, wipe and reload unfortuantely. The perils of Sony DRM...

you will have initialise the player. might i suggest upgrading to sonicstage 3.2 before hand? take a look at this thread at minidisc.org for more info
