well the question is simple. I have Shure E5c and from what I am aware of I can make UM56 custom molds for this model. The things is I also will be buying E500 as they show up.

So I am wondering are E5c and E500 compatible in terms of tips used... would it be possible to use Westone Complys in E500.

And the final question will it be possible to make UM56 for E500 ?

Someone from Shure replied to another thread asking the exact question and the response was that the shaft diameter has not changed so they should fit with the e500.

Its here. In short, yes, you should be able to fit the UM56 on both E5 and E500.
