They both are great individually, but put together I notice a significant background hiss (granted I have hypersensitive hearing). Also I did not care a great deal for the "at times" exaggerated highs with an over emphasized "s" sound: sibilance. I tried different eq settings with limited success.
Then I bought a $7 radio shack volume attenuator. I controlled the hiss away with the volume knob and realized as well the sound signature changed to my liking to a significant extent. I am really happy with the outcome and for those of you struggling with hiss or are unhappy with the sound, try this cheap solution. If not happy you can always return it back to radio shack for a refund.
