I am planning to buy some good pair of headphones and I found the Image ONE!
And then, was about to buy it and then saw the Reference ONE, and got confused.
Specs are the same, but whats the physical and the 'sound' experience?
I am now vey confused. Can you help me?
Oh, and can you recommend me some good looking, good sound headphones around 100 - 200 dollars?)
Thank you for your help,
Lowes Hahns.

Reference Ones went on clearance for $75 at buy.com.  I went to headphone.com and looked at the graphs. Looks like the reference ones have higher bass values, straighter/smoother 50hz square wave and a little bit less harmonic distortion

The reference ones have a supposedly better cord too.  It's see through.

I own the Image One and I like them. They are very efficient and the iphone control works well. The bass is very strong - maybe too strong for some. I wish the case had a loop or carbiner clip. Soory, I can't compare to the Reference One but I suspect the changes are mostly cosmetic.

Can you tell us how it compare to the new Klipsch Image One II and the Status? I am comparing those to the Studio beats 2.0  i know one is in ear the other is over the ear but there still the most bass off a portable device you can get.

I never heard the Klipsch Image One II but the reviews seem to indicate that it is bit muffled. The comfort is supposed to be good. The pads are not interchangeable with the first Image One. Sorry, I can't really help past that.
