I've been looking for informations and experiences for Ultrasone phones when I discovered this brand and its "S-logic" frontal sound presentation.
Very less people could answer how good these phones can be, until JensL test. Since then, it seemed that S-logic was more a marketing feature than a real acoustic one. Ultrasone was fine, but nothing really special, and a bit too expensive.
But today, I was reading some lines about Steve Vai, and then I came across this picture on this page
Steve, using a HFI-700 for its guitare work ! Sounds like a damn good proof of what an Ultrasone is capable of !
Now, we know that HFI-700 suits Guitare Hero style real good. Grado has some challengers on rock music now (even if I still love Grado's flavour !!).
